ISG to Assess AWS Partners Supporting AI Innovations in New Reports
Upcoming ISG Provider Lens™ reports will evaluate AWS cloud platform partners’ ability to leverage the platform to support AI adoption and develop industry-specific solutions
Information Services Group (ISG) III, a global technology research and advisory firm focusing on AI, has initiated a research study. This study will analyze the service providers who are facilitating AI adoption and creating innovative, industry-specific solutions utilizing the AWS cloud platform.
The findings from this study will be released in a series of detailed ISG Provider Lens™ reports, titled AWS Ecosystem Partners, set to debut in September 2025. These reports will profile AWS partners dedicated to supplying the vital resources required for enhanced computing power and scalable applications.
Enterprise buyers will benefit from insights provided in these reports to assess their current vendor partnerships, explore potential new collaborations, and identify available services. Meanwhile, ISG advisors will leverage this data to recommend service providers to clients on the buy-side of the market.
AWS has positioned itself as a facilitator for partners specializing in data-heavy workloads and cloud-native implementations. This supports the increasing customer needs for data-driven decision-making. By introducing Nova foundation models and agentic AI builder services, AWS has reinforced its connections with AI leaders, allowing partners to generate AI-enhanced solutions across various sectors.
AWS is further addressing customer demands for data security. New specializations aimed at creating Zero Trust and compliance solutions assist clients in meeting rigorous regulatory criteria, demonstrating AWS’s commitment to securely managing cloud environments worldwide.
“The growth of sovereign cloud offerings is essential for organizations within regions that enforce stringent data protection regulations, as well as for companies in heavily regulated domains like defense,” stated Aman Munglani, director and principal analyst at ISG Provider Lens Research. “AWS is expanding incentives, including its Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), to boost partners’ capabilities for cloud modernization.”
ISG has sent out surveys to over 350 AWS partners. Collaborating with ISG’s global advisory team, the research team aims to create five quadrants representing the digital services typically sought by enterprises, informed by ISG’s extensive client interactions. The five quadrants include:
- AWS Professional Services – This quadrant evaluates providers delivering comprehensive consulting and migration services to assist businesses on their AWS journeys. These services address a multitude of business and IT requirements, including strategy formation, modernization, and compliance support.
- AWS Managed Services – This segment assesses service providers managing the orchestration, monitoring, and optimization of clients’ public cloud and multicloud environments. Providers usually deploy developed or licensed management tools to streamline capacity and cost management transparently.
- AWS Enterprise Data Modernization and AI Services – This section focuses on the capabilities of service providers in four critical areas: the enterprise data ecosystem, insights generation, agentic AI, and generative AI solutions using AWS platforms like Amazon Bedrock and Nova.
- AWS SAP Workloads – Providers in this quadrant support SAP HANA and other platforms on AWS, including central management functionalities. They also engage with AWS for RISE with SAP, a growing demand among enterprises aligning with cloud-first strategies.
- AWS Brazil Public Sector – Technology Services – This category evaluates providers that collaborate with AWS to create and deliver solutions for Brazil’s public sector, helping agencies modernize while navigating unique operational hurdles.
These reports will span the global AWS partner ecosystem, focusing on products and services available in the U.S., the U.K., Germany, Brazil, Mexico, and the Asia Pacific region. Key ISG analysts, including Frank Heuer (Germany), Ashwin Gaidhani and Tapati Bandopadhyay (U.S.), Mark Purdy (U.K.), Srinivasan PN (Asia Pacific), and Adriana Frantz (Brazil and Mexico), will lead the report development.
A complete listing of identified providers and more details about the research can be found in a digital brochure. Organizations not included as AWS ecosystem partners can contact ISG to be considered for the study.
All 2025 ISG Provider Lens™ evaluations will feature enhanced customer experience (CX) data that reflects real enterprise experiences with specific provider services. Enterprise customers are encouraged to share their feedback through an online survey, and participants will receive a copy of the report in appreciation for their input.
