Nvidia Sees Surge in AI Chip Demand
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced at GTC 2026 that the cumulative demand for Nvidia’s Blackwell and Rubin chips is projected to reach $1 trillion by 2027, a significant rise from the previously estimated $500 billion. This growth is attributed to increasing demand for AI infrastructure, benefiting Nvidia, Dell Technologies, and Amazon Web Services.
In fiscal performance, Nvidia reported a revenue increase of 65% to $216 billion last year, translating to a profit of $120 billion. Dell’s AI-optimized server revenue surged 342% year over year, reaching $9 billion, while Amazon’s AWS experienced a 24% increase in revenue, indicating robust growth across the AI ecosystem. Analysts forecast earnings growth of 15% annually for Dell and 18% for Amazon in the coming years.
