Nvidia and Alphabet Lead in Agentic AI Development
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced on February 25, 2026, that the arrival of “agentic AI,” AI capable of independent actions, marks a significant inflection point in technology. Nvidia’s Omniverse serves as a digital training ground for developing such AI programs, showcasing impressive fiscal year 2026 results with a 65% revenue increase and a net profit margin of 55.6%.
Meanwhile, Alphabet’s Project Mariner, launched in December 2024, allows AI agents to autonomously execute tasks, such as purchasing tickets online. This project capitalizes on Alphabet’s growing market share in AI, with its Gemini program increasing from 7% to 21% since 2023. For fiscal year 2025, Alphabet reported a 15% revenue growth to $402.8 billion and a diluted earnings per share increase of 34.4%.
