JetBlue Airways (JBLU) shares rose 5.6% to $5.27 in the last trading session, recovering from a 15.7% loss over the previous four weeks. This increase comes ahead of the airline’s second-quarter 2026 earnings report scheduled for July 28, with expected revenues of $2.7 billion, marking a 14.4% year-over-year increase, despite an anticipated loss of $0.70 per share.
JetBlue’s positive momentum follows management’s raised unit-revenue outlook in June and its successful bid for 22 daily LaGuardia Airport slots from Spirit Airlines for over $58 million, after Spirit ceased operations in May 2026. Over the past 30 days, the consensus EPS estimate for JetBlue has been revised upward by 26.4%.
