Kenorland Minerals (TSXV: KLD) has announced the latest high-grade assay results from its Frotet project in northern Quebec, showcasing significant mineralization. Notable results include 12.15 metres grading 26.33 grams gold per tonne from a depth of 500.15 metres in hole 25RDD261, along with additional assays from other drill holes. The drilling program, which consists of nearly 23,000 metres, has continued to confirm the high-grade nature of the Regnault gold system.
The company plans to release an initial resource estimate for the Regnault system in late 2025 or early 2026. As part of this effort, Japan’s Sumitomo Metal Mining has recently taken over operations at Frotet and is collaborating on resource estimation activities. Kenorland, which maintains a 4% net smelter return royalty, has reported that its shares rose by 1% on Monday, reaching C$2.02 per share, giving it a market valuation of C$158.4 million.
The recent assay results were part of the final 13 out of 34 drill holes completed in the winter program, conducted approximately 800 km north of Montreal in the Chibougamau region.
