In early trading on Friday, shares of Walmart increased by 0.8%, making it one of the top performers in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, with a year-to-date gain of 10.6%. In contrast, Salesforce was the worst performer, dropping 2.6%, and is down approximately 31.7% year-to-date.
Additionally, International Business Machines saw a decline of 2.1%, while Verizon Communications posted a modest increase of 0.5% on the same day.
