In early trading on Friday, Cisco Systems saw a significant rise of 1.9%, making it one of the top performers among Dow Jones Industrial Average components. Year-to-date, Cisco has experienced a gain of 22.0%. Conversely, Salesforce was the worst performer, dropping 4.7% today and down approximately 33.0% for the year.
Additionally, International Business Machines (IBM) decreased by 1.5%, while Apple also showed a gain of 1.9% on the same day.
