Amazon Shines While Amgen Struggles on the Dow

In today’s early trading on Monday, Amazon.com emerged as a standout performer among the Dow Jones Industrial Average components, seeing an increase of 1.5%. Impressively, the company’s stock has surged 38.9% year-to-date.

On the flip side, Amgen has been the weakest performer today, with shares falling 1.4%. This downturn reflects a year-to-date decline of approximately 3.1% for the biotechnology firm.

Additionally, Home Depot saw a decrease of 1.1%, while NVIDIA experienced a rise of 1.5% today, showcasing the mixed results among key players in the index.
