In early trading on Friday, Chevron’s shares rose by 0.5%, making it one of the top performers in the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Year-to-date, Chevron has recorded a gain of 25.2%. Conversely, Goldman Sachs Group was the worst performer of the day, dropping 3.8% and showing an 8.6% decline for the year.
Additionally, American Express saw a decline of 3.6%, while Microsoft increased by 0.5% during the same trading session.
