Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, Bank of America Corp (BAC) reported significant options trading today, with a total of 182,308 contracts exchanged, representing approximately 18.2 million underlying shares. This volume accounts for about 48.5% of BAC’s average daily trading volume of 37.6 million shares over the past month. Notably, the $55 strike call option expiring on December 12, 2025, saw 23,027 contracts traded, equating to around 2.3 million shares.

ServiceNow Inc (NOW) also experienced noteworthy activity, with 6,845 contracts traded, representing about 684,500 underlying shares, or 48.4% of its average daily volume of 1.4 million shares. The $1160 strike put option expiring January 16, 2026, saw high volume as well, with 1,200 contracts traded, representing approximately 120,000 shares.

Comerica, Inc. (CMA) reported trading of 6,463 contracts, corresponding to roughly 646,300 underlying shares, or 48.3% of its average daily volume of 1.3 million shares. A significant 3,000 contracts were traded for the $72.50 strike call option expiring December 19, 2025, equating to about 300,000 shares.
