**Lithia Motors (LAD) Report Highlights Strong Q2 2026 Performance**

Lithia Motors reported second-quarter 2026 adjusted earnings of $10.03 per share, up 9% from $9.20 in the previous year, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $8.67 by 15.7%. The company generated revenues of $9.79 billion, a 2.2% increase year-over-year, exceeding the consensus estimate of $9.64 billion. Key drivers included improvements in used-vehicle profitability, growth in aftersales, and record financing operations income of $36.5 million.

New-vehicle revenues increased to $4.83 billion (+2.7%), while used-vehicle revenues were $3.53 billion (+1.4%). Notably, used retail average selling prices rose by 4.3% to $29,593, even as used-unit sales declined 2.7% to 106,114 units. The company’s financing operations also exhibited significant growth, with managed finance receivables reaching nearly $5.3 billion, up 23% year-over-year. Lithia Motors also repurchased 854,000 shares during the quarter and raised its quarterly dividend by 23% to $0.70 per share.
