Lamar Advertising Declares $1.55 Dividend, Boosts Stock Buyback Program

Lamar Advertising (LAMR) recently announced its board of directors approved a quarterly cash dividend of $1.55 per share. This dividend will be distributed on June 30, 2025, to shareholders of record for Lamar’s Class A and Class B common stock as of June 19, 2025.

With this latest dividend, the company projects total quarterly distributions to stockholders will reach a minimum of $6.20 per common share for 2025.

Commitment to Strong Dividend Payouts

Ongoing solid dividend payouts continue to attract real estate investment trust (REIT) investors, and Lamar has demonstrated a strong commitment to this approach. Over the past five years, the company has increased its dividend nine times, achieving an impressive five-year annualized dividend growth rate of 24.17%.

Increased Stock Repurchase Authorization

Lamar has completed $150 million in stock repurchases under its existing program, with $100 million remaining for further repurchases. In conjunction with the dividend announcement, the board approved an additional $150 million to the stock repurchase program, increasing the total to $250 million.
