Lucid Group’s Financial Struggles
Lucid Group (NASDAQ: LCID) is facing severe financial difficulties, losing nearly $1 billion per quarter. In Q3 2025, the company reported revenue of $337 million, a 68.5% increase from the previous year, driven by a 47% rise in new vehicle deliveries. However, costs soared by $257.7 million, resulting in a net loss of $978.4 million for the quarter.
The company started 2025 with over $5 billion in cash reserves but has seen that decrease to $2.9 billion by September 30, coupled with a total debt of $2.8 billion. Lucid’s free cash flow losses deepened from -$622.5 million in Q3 2024 to -$955.5 million in Q3 2025, indicating significant operational challenges ahead.
