Johnson & Johnson and Amgen Lead Dow’s Performance on Wednesday
In early trading on Wednesday, Johnson & Johnson emerged as one of the top performers among the Dow Jones Industrial Average components, with shares rising 0.6%. This reflects a solid year-to-date gain of 6.6% for the healthcare giant.
Conversely, Amgen has struggled today, currently down 1.9%. Despite its current decline, Amgen’s year-to-date performance shows a gain of 15.5%, indicating a positive trajectory over the longer term.
In addition to these notable movements, other Dow components also made headlines today. NVIDIA has experienced a slight decline, trading down 1.3%, while Honeywell International moved in the opposite direction, rising 0.3% during the trading session.
