Meta Platforms reported a 24.3% year-over-year increase in advertising revenues, reaching $58.14 billion in Q4 2025, which accounted for 97.1% of its total revenues. With over 3.58 billion daily active users across its platforms, including more than two billion on Facebook and WhatsApp, the company anticipates revenues between $53.5 billion and $56.5 billion for Q1 2026, reflecting a projected growth of 30.78% from the previous year.

WhatsApp crossed a $2 billion annual run rate and introduced new features like paid messaging and AI tools, facilitating over one million weekly business conversations. Meanwhile, competitors Snap and Reddit are experiencing significant growth, with Reddit’s advertising revenues surging 75% year-over-year to $690 million in Q4 2025.

Despite recent performance, META’s shares have dropped 25.2% over the past six months, underperforming the broader tech sector’s 7.9% decline. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for 2026 earnings is $29.75 per share, suggesting a 26.65% year-over-year growth.
