Meta Platforms Signs $27 Billion Data Center Deal with Nebius Group

Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) has entered a five-year contract with Nebius Group (NASDAQ: NBIS) to provide $27 billion in data center capacity. The agreement includes $12 billion for existing capacity using Nvidia’s latest GPUs and up to $15 billion for additional capacity from new data centers expected to open in the next five years. This deal is part of Meta’s larger strategy, which could result in over $200 billion in capital expenditures aimed at enhancing infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI) deployment.

The Nebius contract comes shortly after another agreement worth $3 billion was signed. Financial analysts project that Nebius’s revenue could increase significantly, estimating total revenue of about $9 billion in 2027 and up to $14 billion in 2028. The initial phase of the deal, effective from 2027, is anticipated to add $2.4 billion to Nebius’s annual revenue.
