Microsoft Increases Dividend Amid Market Concerns

Despite concerns over reduced demand for its services due to the rise of artificial intelligence, Microsoft reported a revenue increase of 18% year-over-year, reaching $90 billion for the fourth quarter of its fiscal year ending June 30. The company’s cloud revenue surged by 27%, totaling $59.3 billion.
Strong Financials Support Future Growth
Microsoft boasts a strong balance sheet with an AAA credit rating and a cash payout ratio of 39.5%. This positions the company favorably to sustain dividend growth as it adapts to technological changes, reinforcing investor confidence in its long-term prospects.
