Midday Decline for Soybean Prices

Soybean prices have experienced fractional to 3 cent losses in the front-month contracts, with the cmdtyView national average Cash Bean price down 2.75 cents at $10.97¾. Soymeal futures are decreased by $3.00 to $3.60, while Soy Oil futures are higher by 150 to 172 points. The market is anticipating closures on Good Friday, with Thursday as the last trading day for the week.

According to USDA Export Sales data for the week of March 26, soybean sales reached 353,259 MT, falling short of estimates of 300,000-700,000 MT but still 35.51% above the same week last year. Soybean meal sales stood at 377,362 MT, within the expected range of 200,000-500,000 MT. Additionally, February saw a total crushing volume of 214.2 million bushels, a 12.99% increase year-over-year, while total soybean shipments for February reached 4.195 MMT, up 34.6% from the previous year.
