Midday Surge for Cotton Prices

Cotton futures are experiencing mixed trading on Wednesday, with July contracts up 18 points at 65.6 cents per pound, while October contracts are down 17 points at 65.53 cents per pound. Crude oil prices have increased by $1.61 per barrel, while the US dollar index decreased by $0.515 to 98.565.

As of June 10, the Cotlook A Index rose by 50 points to 78.50. ICE cotton stocks increased by 67 bales to a certified level of 53,418 bales, while the USDA’s Adjusted World Price (AWP) fell 8 points to 53.76 cents per pound.
