Corn futures are experiencing slight losses on Friday, with the CmdtyView national average Cash Corn price falling by 3/4 cent to $3.88 3/4. The December corn contract is priced at $4.28, also down by 3/4 cent.
Brazil is projected to export 5.57 million metric tons (MMT) of corn in November, an increase from 4.92 MMT in the previous year. October exports reached 6.5 MMT, up from 6.4 MMT year-on-year.
In Argentina, the corn crop is currently 36% planted, down 2.7 percentage points from last year, while 79% of the emerging corn is rated in good to excellent condition according to the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange.
