Midweek Highlights: MEDP, RYAM, ILPT Options Analysis

Among the components of the Russell 3000 index, significant options trading activity was observed today in Medpace Holdings Inc (MEDP), which saw 2,013 contracts exchanged, equating to approximately 201,300 underlying shares. This represents about 61.1% of MEDP’s average daily trading volume of 329,315 shares over the past month. The $560 strike put option expiring on December 18, 2026, was particularly notable, with 923 contracts traded.

Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc (RYAM) also experienced substantial activity, with 6,396 contracts traded, amounting to roughly 639,600 underlying shares, which is 60.6% of its average daily trading volume of 1.1 million shares. The $9 strike put option expiring May 15, 2026, saw 4,504 contracts traded, representing about 450,400 underlying shares.

Industrial Logistics Properties Trust (ILPT) had 1,712 contracts traded, which corresponds to approximately 171,200 underlying shares, or 59.4% of its average daily trading volume of 288,075 shares. The $7.50 strike call option expiring October 16, 2026, accounted for 706 contracts traded, equating to about 70,600 underlying shares.
