High Volume Sparks Interest in ETF Components
The Invesco Dividend Achievers ETF, known by its ticker PFM, experienced an exceptional trading day on Wednesday, with over 305,000 shares exchanged. This greatly exceeds the three-month average of roughly 31,000 shares, indicating renewed investor interest.
Among the ETF’s components, Apple led in trading volume. It saw a slight decline of approximately 0.7%, with over 20.9 million shares traded. Starbucks, in contrast, rallied with a 6.6% increase as more than 19.0 million shares changed hands. Silgan Holdings stood out with the most notable increase for the day, up by around 6.9%. Meanwhile, Packaging of America struggled, experiencing a decrease of about 9.1%.
