Stock Market Surges as Model N, Ducommun, Perpetua Resources, and Other Major Stocks Soar

The U.S. stock market witnessed a surge on Monday, with the Nasdaq Composite edging up around 0.1%.


Model N, Inc. (MODN) experienced a significant rise during Monday’s trading session following the announcement of its acquisition by Vista Equity Partners for $1.25 billion.


Model N shares skyrocketed by 10.7% to reach $30.00 by the end of the day.


While some stocks recorded losses today, several others showed remarkable growth.


  • Destiny Tech100 Inc. (DXYZ) saw its shares climb by 33.8% to $79.30 after a 77% surge on Friday.
  • Adlai Nortye Ltd. (ANL) witnessed a surge of 27.9% to $10.68.
  • Apartment Income REIT Corp. (AIRC) experienced a jump of 22.6% to $38.47 as Blackstone Real Estate announced plans to take AIR Communities private for approximately $10 billion.
  • Ducommun Incorporated (DCO) saw its shares rise by 17.5% to $57.11 after confirming an unsolicited non-binding indication of interest from Albion River LLC.
  • Mesoblast Limited (MESO) surged by 13.8% to $6.60.
  • Perpetua Resources Corp. (PPTA) gained 13.5% to $5.40 following an announcement of potential financing of up to $1.8 billion from the Export-Import Bank of the United States for the Stibnite Gold Project.
