Healthcare and Transportation Stocks Decline Significantly on Monday
On Monday, hospital and medical practitioner shares experienced notable losses, dropping approximately 4.5% as a group. Acadia Healthcare led the decline, with shares falling about 11.6%. Universal Health Services also contributed to the downturn, with a decrease of around 8.7%.
Transportation services stocks similarly lagged behind the market, dipping about 4.4% overall. Hertz Global Holdings was the primary driver of this trend, with its shares down roughly 10.6%. Serve Robotics followed suit, witnessing a decline of approximately 7.3%.
