Analyzing Monday’s Unusual Volume in PEJ ETF

Invesco Leisure and Entertainment ETF Sees Significant Trading Activity

The Invesco Leisure and Entertainment ETF (PEJ) experienced unusually high trading volume on Monday afternoon, with over 874,000 shares exchanged. This is considerably higher than its three-month average of approximately 58,000 shares. Despite the volume spike, PEJ shares saw a decline of about 3.5% on the day.

Highest Volume Components

Among the ETF’s components, Warner Bros. Discovery reported the highest trading volume, with over 12.8 million shares traded while also decreasing by roughly 3.5%. Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings also saw substantial activity, with a volume of more than 8.9 million shares, while its stock price fell approximately 6.7%. In contrast, Texas Roadhouse performed well, increasing by about 0.8% on the same day. Flutter Entertainment, however, struggled relative to its peers, as it traded lower by about 7%.
