Nebius Shares Surge Following $27 Billion Deal with Meta for AI Infrastructure

Nebius Group N.V. (NBIS) has signed a five-year AI infrastructure supply agreement with Meta Platforms, Inc. (META), valued at approximately $27 billion. Under the deal, Nebius will provide dedicated AI compute capacity worth $12 billion, starting in early 2027, utilizing NVIDIA Corporation’s (NVDA) Vera Rubin platform. Additionally, Meta has committed to purchasing up to $15 billion of compute capacity from Nebius clusters during the same period.

Following the announcement, Nebius shares surged by 15%, marking a total gain of 37.9% over the past six months. Notably, the company has reported strong demand for its AI cloud services, with a consistent pattern of selling out its capacity. The agreement with Meta reflects Nebius’ strategy to establish long-term partnerships that bolster its AI cloud business amidst a competitive market.
