**Netflix Price Increase in the U.K.: Key Facts**
Netflix has increased the prices of all its plans in the U.K. within the last few days. The ad-supported standard tier rose from £5.99 to £7.99 per month, a 33% increase, while the ad-free standard plan now costs £13.99 and the premium plan is priced at £20.99. New members will be charged the updated rates immediately, while existing subscribers receive a 30-day notice before the new prices take effect.
The company’s second-quarter revenue grew by 13% year over year, with expectations of 11.7% growth for the third quarter. Notably, Netflix has a history of revenue growth post-price increases, with its revenue reaching approximately $45.2 billion in 2025. The latest price hikes mark the second increase in the U.K. in 19 months, with the ad-supported plan now costing 60% more than it did at the start of the previous year.
