Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) is forecasting a 70% revenue growth for the next fiscal year, driven by its scaling shipments of Blackwell and Vera Rubin CPUs. In the second quarter, Nvidia’s data center segment generated $89 billion, a 117% increase year-over-year, with expectations of $20 billion in revenue from Vera Rubin CPUs by next quarter. The company anticipates a revenue of $108 billion for the current quarter, excluding data center compute sales from China.
Broadcom (NASDAQ: AVGO) is also projecting significant growth, expecting its AI chip business to double through 2028 and reporting a 236% year-over-year increase in AI semiconductor sales to $21.7 billion last quarter. The company has increased its full-year fiscal 2026 AI revenue forecast to $58 billion, up 186% from the previous year. Both companies face unique challenges; while Broadcom’s growth is rapid, it has a narrower customer base compared to Nvidia’s broader reach and software capabilities.
