NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) delivered a strong message at its annual GTC conference, asserting that the artificial intelligence (AI) boom is not slowing down. CEO Jensen Huang predicted over $1 trillion in revenue from its Blackwell and Rubin chips by 2027, signifying a shift towards inference technology—running AI models at scale. Estimates for global spending on AI chips and data centers are projected between $600 billion and $750 billion this year.
The conference highlighted the rise of “agentic AI,” which encompasses AI that can autonomously break down tasks, make decisions, and operate continuously in the background. NVIDIA emphasized the need for businesses to adopt agentic systems, introducing tools like OpenClaw and NemoClaw to enhance AI capabilities while addressing privacy and security.
The developments showcased at GTC reinforce that the demand for AI infrastructure—encompassing computing power, storage, and reliable networking—will likely continue to expand, highlighting the importance of supply chain dynamics in the ongoing AI evolution.
