Key Financial Returns by Nvidia
Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) returned approximately $26 billion to shareholders through share repurchases and dividends in its fiscal second quarter of 2027, ending July 26. This amount surpasses the $21.3 billion in free cash flow generated during the same period and represents nearly 10 times the company’s capital spending. In the first half of fiscal 2027, total shareholder returns exceeded $45 billion, already surpassing the $41.1 billion returned in all of fiscal 2026.
Revenue for the quarter grew 106% year-over-year to $96.2 billion, and net income climbed 126% to $59.7 billion, despite capital expenditures being only $2.7 billion. Management indicated plans to return 50% or more of free cash flow to shareholders, achieving a 60% return year-to-date. Furthermore, Nvidia’s quarterly dividend was recently increased from $0.01 to $0.25 per share, indicating strong expectations for sustained profitability.
