Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) reported a 14% increase in revenue for its fiscal 2026 second quarter, reaching $16.05 billion, while net income surged 95% to $6.13 billion. Despite a recent share price decline of over 52% since September, primarily due to concerns over a $100 billion debt load tied to extensive AI infrastructure investments, Oracle maintains a significant $300 billion deal with OpenAI for AI services, projected to require an estimated $156 billion in infrastructure by 2027.
In the fiscal 2026 second quarter, Oracle’s cloud revenue rose 34% year-over-year to $7.98 billion, while the total revenue increased from $14.06 billion in Q2 FY2025. The company’s forward price-to-earnings ratio stands at 19.8, making its stock one of the cheapest in over two years.
