Nvidia’s Recent Stock Performance
Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) has not reached a record high closing price since May 14, when shares closed at $235.74, approximately 9% lower than the current price of around $215. This marks 87 trading days without a new record, aligning with historical patterns where similar droughts have led either to new highs or significant market declines.
In its latest quarterly report, Nvidia reported a substantial revenue growth of 106% year-over-year, reaching $96.2 billion for the second quarter of fiscal 2027, indicating strong demand, particularly in the data center segment, which saw a 117% increase. Net income also more than doubled, rising 126% to $59.7 billion. With projections of continued growth, Nvidia’s CFO stated expectations of around 70% revenue growth in fiscal 2028, suggesting solid underlying business momentum.
