Nvidia Projects Massive Growth in Data Center Spending
Nvidia forecasts that global capital expenditures for data centers will reach between $3 trillion and $4 trillion by 2030. This projection is supported by expectations that the leading four AI hyperscalers will spend approximately $650 billion in 2026 alone, not including other major players like those in China.
The company’s estimates suggest an impressive 48% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for the data center industry, with cumulative spending expected to hit $7 trillion by the decade’s end. If Nvidia’s revenue grows at this same rate, it could see trailing revenue soar to approximately $1.53 trillion from its current $216 billion.
