Park Aerospace Corp. (PKE) reported a significant increase in first-quarter fiscal 2027 earnings, with earnings per share rising to 17 cents from 10 cents year-over-year. For the quarter ending May 31, 2026, net sales surged to $18.3 million, reflecting a 18.8% increase from $15.4 million in the previous year, while net earnings rose to $3.5 million compared to $2.1 million.
The company experienced a 5.8% rise in shares since the earnings report, outperforming the S&P 500 index’s 0.4% growth during the same period. In addition, Park expects second-quarter sales between $19.5 million and $21 million, with adjusted EBITDA projected between $4.3 million and $5.1 million. The company is also expanding manufacturing capacity with a new $65 million facility at Tulsa International Airport and has plans for a U.S.-based C2B fabric manufacturing plant in collaboration with ArianeGroup.
