Perion Network Invests in AI to Capitalize on Growing CTV and Retail Media Investments

Perion Network (NASDAQ: PERI) is enhancing its Perion One platform with AI capabilities to help advertisers streamline campaign management across various digital channels. CEO Tal Jacobson highlighted this initiative during a Canaccord Genuity discussion, emphasizing the platform’s role in providing better visibility and efficiency for advertisers amid a complex digital landscape.

In the second quarter, Perion One spend grew by 15%, while retail media spending surged by 60% and connected TV (CTV) by 56%. The company’s AI-driven optimization tool, Outmax, achieved over 130% growth, indicating strong customer adoption and potential for future scaling. Jacobson announced upcoming integrations with ChatGPT, Gemini, and Snapchat, aiming to widen their service offerings.

Looking ahead, Perion expects to significantly boost revenue in the second half of the year due to recently signed agency agreements and normal seasonal trends, maintaining its targets of at least 25% compound annual growth in Perion One expenditure and 20% growth in other contributions. The company has also allocated approximately $167 million of a $200 million share repurchase plan, underlining its commitment to disciplined capital allocation.
