**Lucid Group and Bolt Partnership Announcement**
Lucid Group (NASDAQ: LCID) has partnered with Bolt, Europe’s largest shared-mobility platform, to deploy 25,000 Lucid robotaxis across various locations in Europe. This partnership comes as part of Bolt’s goal to introduce 100,000 autonomous vehicles by 2035. Lucid is also working with Uber Technologies and Nuro to roll out 20,000 Lucid Gravity robotaxis starting this year in the United States.
Despite this positive development, Lucid faces challenges, as the launch of the platform intended for the Bolt partnership has been delayed from late 2026 to the second half of 2027. This delay follows operational changes within Lucid, including layoffs affecting 18% of its workforce. The overall success of deploying self-driving vehicles at scale remains uncertain, presenting additional hurdles for the company’s outlook.
