At the end of the first quarter of 2026, Meta Platforms Inc. (META) was held by 66 hedge funds among the 126 recent 13F filings. Notably, these funds collectively increased their holdings in META by approximately 169 million shares, raising their total from 381,630,519 to 550,831,604—an increase of about 44.34% since the previous reporting period.

Analysis of the filings from December 31, 2025, to March 31, 2026, reveals 29 funds increased their positions, while 28 decreased theirs, and four initiated new holdings in META. Funds such as Heron Bay Capital Management added 38,351 shares valued at $19,860,000, while major reductions came from Group One Trading, which decreased its holdings by 276,972 shares worth $289,967,000.

During this period, three funds—Williamson Legacy Group, Globeflex Capital LP, and Parker Investment Management—exited their positions in META entirely. The aggregate market value of hedge fund holdings for META decreased by $498,535,000 despite the increased share count.
