The Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) is down 0.1% on the day and 0.27% year-to-date. Year-to-date, BSX has seen a rise of 12.16%, while CVS is up 52.37%, making them around 4.7% of XLV’s holdings.
Overall, only the energy sector is showing a gain, while eight other sectors, including healthcare, are down. Significant declines were noted across industries such as financials (-1.1%) and technology & communications (-1.0%).
