- Shopify (NYSE:SHOP) is increasing prices for its more expensive Plus plan and adjusting fees for third-party transactions and variable platform fees for online sales, as reported by Business Insider.
- The Plus plan will now cost 25% more for a one-year subscription and 15% more for a three-year subscription.
- The Plus subscription is tailored for larger merchants with annual revenue of $1M to $500M.
- The price hike comes a year after Shopify (NYSE:SHOP) elevated the price of its base subscription plan by 33%, resulting in improved profits for the Canadian e-commerce company.
- Shopify (NYSE:SHOP) saw its sales close Thursday with a 3% gain.
