Nvidia Reports Strong Q1 Earnings

Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) reported a remarkable fiscal Q1 earnings on May 20, 2026, with revenue soaring 85% year over year to $81.62 billion, surpassing analyst expectations of $78.86 billion. Its adjusted earnings per share (EPS) also increased by 140% to $1.87, exceeding the consensus estimate of $1.76.

The company’s data center segment revenue surged 92% to $75.2 billion, with hyperscale revenue up 115% to $37.9 billion. Nvidia forecasts revenue for Q2 2026 to be approximately $91 billion, representing a projected 95% growth, which does not include data center revenue from China. As of the end of the fiscal period, Nvidia had $80.5 billion in cash and marketable securities, with an operating cash flow of $50.3 billion.
