Nvidia (NVDA) and SpaceX (SPCX) have formed a significant partnership, where SpaceX will exclusively deploy Nvidia’s AI hardware across its computing infrastructure. This announcement has boosted Nvidia’s shares by nearly 10% in the past month, while SpaceX’s stock has declined over 13% following a lukewarm reception of its IPO.

During SpaceX’s first earnings call as a public company, CEO Elon Musk reported that the company will utilize Nvidia’s Vera Rubin platform across its AI initiatives. SpaceX generated $7.81 billion in revenue for the quarter, exceeding expectations, but recorded a net loss of $541 million. Additionally, SpaceX’s capital expenditures for AI infrastructure have surged to $18.4 billion, reflecting aggressive investment plans.

Nvidia’s Q2 sales are projected to rise 96% year-over-year to $91.71 billion, with earnings expected to increase by 99% to $2.09 per share. In contrast, SpaceX has signed $6.7 billion in contracts since Q2, expecting to exceed 2 gigawatts in compute capacity by year-end.
