Significant ETF Outflows This Week: PIMCO and SMCZ Hit Hard
In the latest update from ETF Channel, the PIMCO Multisector Bond Active ETF experienced the largest unit outflow, losing 78,680,000 units. This represents a sharp decline of 39.3% compared to the previous week. In morning trading, the Pimco U.S. Treasury Index Fund, a key component of PYLD, saw a decrease of approximately 0.6%.
On a percentage basis, the SMCZ ETF faced the most significant outflow, shedding 750,000 units, which equates to a 33.3% drop in outstanding units from the prior week.
