Significant ETF Outflows Highlight Market Dynamics This Week

In a recent analysis by ETF Channel, significant changes in outstanding units of various ETFs were observed. The Vanguard High Dividend Yield ETF experienced the largest outflow, shedding 6,171,849 units. This reduction marks a 1.3% decrease from the previous week. During this morning’s trading session, two of VYM’s major components, Broadcom, fell approximately 2.7%, and JP Morgan Chase decreased by around 1.6%.

Additionally, the Direxion Daily META Bear 1X Shares faced a notable decline on a percentage basis, losing 275,000 units. This loss translates to a substantial drop of 39.3% in outstanding units compared to the prior week.
