Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, Rivian Automotive Inc (RIVN) reported a significant options trading volume today, with 119,398 contracts exchanged, equivalent to approximately 11.9 million underlying shares. This represents about 45% of RIVN’s average daily trading volume over the past month of 26.6 million shares. Notably, the $14.50 strike call option expiring on February 6, 2026, saw 14,168 contracts traded, accounting for around 1.4 million shares.

Corning Inc (GLW) also experienced high options trading activity, with 38,607 contracts traded, about 3.9 million underlying shares, or 43.6% of its average daily trading volume of 8.9 million shares. The $120 strike call option, set to expire on February 6, 2026, saw 4,072 contracts traded, representing approximately 407,200 shares.

Hawaiian Electric Industries Inc (HE) reported 14,284 contracts traded, about 1.4 million underlying shares, or 41.5% of its average daily volume of 3.4 million shares. The $20 strike call option, expiring on February 20, 2026, saw a particularly high volume of 12,393 contracts, representing around 1.2 million shares.
