Among stocks in the Russell 3000 index, Antero Resources Corp (AR) displayed significant options trading activity today with 102,510 contracts exchanged, equating to about 10.3 million underlying shares. This represents 223.1% of AR’s average daily trading volume of 4.6 million shares over the past month. Notably, 49,180 contracts were traded for the $33 strike put option expiring June 18, 2026.

In the same context, Apple Inc (AAPL) recorded options volume of 1 million contracts, translating to approximately 100.5 million underlying shares or 199.1% of its average daily trading volume of 50.5 million shares. The $297.50 strike call option expiring June 15, 2026, accounted for 145,758 contracts.

Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) also saw substantial trading, with 720,890 contracts or 72.1 million underlying shares, representing 190.3% of its average daily volume of 37.9 million shares. A total of 89,137 contracts were exchanged for the $400 strike call option expiring June 15, 2026.
