Major ETF Outflows: iShares Russell 2000 and ProShares Hit Hard

The latest data from ETF Channel reveals significant changes in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) over the past week.

iShares Russell 2000 ETF Sees the Largest Decline

This week, the iShares Russell 2000 ETF experienced the largest outflow, with a reduction of 13,300,000 units. This marks a decline of 3.9% compared to the previous week. Notable stocks within IWM included FTAI Aviation, which rose by approximately 1.4%, and Sprouts Farmers Market, gaining about 0.6% during morning trading.

ProShares Ultra Bloomberg Natural Gas Faces Steep Losses

On a percentage basis, the ProShares Ultra Bloomberg Natural Gas ETF faced the most significant outflow, losing 3,300,000 units. This represents a staggering 31.4% decrease in outstanding units from the previous week.
