ETFs See Major Outflows: Invesco QQQ and BUYZ Lead Declines
Analyzing the performance of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) over the past week, significant outflows were noted in various funds monitored by ETF Channel. The largest outflow occurred in the Invesco QQQ, where 9,300,000 units were eliminated. This marked a 1.5% decrease in outstanding units week over week. Among QQQ’s key components, Apple saw a modest increase of about 0.5%, while Microsoft rose approximately 0.6% in morning trading.
On a percentage basis, the fund experiencing the steepest decline was the BUYZ ETF. This ETF lost 100,000 units, equating to a substantial 33.3% drop in outstanding units when compared to the previous week.
