Options trading in the Russell 3000 index highlighted significant activity for several companies on October 26, 2023. Notably, Solstice Advanced Materials Inc (Symbol: SOLS) recorded a total of 22,619 contracts traded, equating to approximately 2.3 million underlying shares, or 58.7% of its average daily volume of 3.9 million shares. The $45 strike put option expiring on February 20, 2026, accounted for 20,799 of those contracts, representing around 2.1 million underlying shares.

Zscaler Inc (Symbol: ZS) and Bloom Energy Corp (Symbol: BE) also experienced notable trading volumes. Zscaler’s options reached 9,168 contracts (about 916,800 underlying shares), marking 58.6% of its average daily volume of 1.6 million shares. The $220 strike call option expiring January 16, 2026, comprised 2,836 contracts. Bloom Energy saw 68,708 contracts traded, equating to approximately 6.9 million underlying shares, or 58.5% of its monthly average of 11.7 million shares, with 3,605 contracts for the $150 strike call option expiring January 16, 2026.
