The most significant activity involved the $17 strike call option expiring September 18, 2026, with 9,120 contracts traded, equating to approximately 912,000 underlying shares.
Equinix saw 4,128 contracts traded today, representing about 412,800 underlying shares or 66% of its average daily trading volume of 625,865 shares. The high volume was largely driven by the $1020 strike call option expiring August 21, 2026, which had 1,080 contracts traded, corresponding to around 108,000 underlying shares.
In contrast, Applied Materials recorded a volume of 50,785 contracts traded, accounting for approximately 5.1 million underlying shares, or 64.5% of its average daily trading volume of 7.9 million shares. Noteworthy activity included the $400 strike put option expiring August 21, 2026, with 2,303 contracts traded, equating to about 230,300 underlying shares.
