Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, Birkenstock Holding PLC (BIRK) experienced significant options trading today, with a total of 15,233 contracts traded, equating to approximately 1.5 million underlying shares. This represents about 80% of BIRK’s average daily trading volume of 1.9 million shares over the past month. Notably, the $50 strike call option expiring on December 19, 2025, accounted for 5,175 contracts, or around 517,500 underlying shares.

Salesforce Inc (CRM) reported a trading volume of 64,891 contracts, covering around 6.5 million underlying shares, which is 70% of its average daily trading volume of 9.3 million shares for the past month. The $230 strike call option expiring on December 19, 2025, saw a particular spike with 10,453 contracts traded, representing approximately 1 million underlying shares.

Lionsgate Studios Corp (LION) also showed active trading, with 14,987 contracts traded, corresponding to approximately 1.5 million underlying shares, or 66.3% of its average daily trading volume of 2.3 million. A significant portion was seen in the $12 strike call option expiring on June 18, 2026, with 2,734 contracts traded, equating to roughly 273,400 underlying shares.
